What is preprint, AAM and VoR?

A preprint is the author’s original manuscript before peer review. It is the version of the article that has not yet been submitted to a journal or has not yet undergone peer review. 

AAM is the Author Accepted Manuscript, also referred to as a postprint. AAM is the peer-reviewed and accepted version of the article. It includes all revisions made during the review process, but it has not yet been typeset, formatted or copy-edited by the publisher. It is typically a machine-readable digital file.

VoR is the Version of Record. It is the final, published version of the article. It is fully formatted,copy-edited and typeset. The VoR is the official version of the publication.
