Which version of an article can I deposit in an institutional repository?

The new Scientific Research and Innovation Activities Act does not explicitly state whether the preprint, author accepted manuscript (AAM), or version of record (VoR) may be made available. However the Scientific Research and Innovation Activities Act requires that open access must be ensured for all peer-reviewed scientific publications, which inludes both AAM and VoR. Additional guidance can be derived from the Decree on the Implementation of Scientific Research Work in Accordance with the Principles of Open Science, which explicitly permits the open publication of both the AAM and the VoR in repositories.
